I am very pleased to be showing my first solo exhibition, at Bruce Castle Musem in conjunction with Haringey Council.

For the past 12 years while I have been painting and drawing and studying art I have also worked part time for Haringey council, on the IT Service Desk, helping staff from across the council with their computer problems over the phone.

This summer (2011) I decided for the first time to combine my two lives, Art and Haringey, by celebrating the friends I have made by painting them. My portraits are about spending time with people and it was ironic that some of these colleagues who I really do consider as friends, I had never met, so it wasn’t just a chance to draw or paint them but to finally put faces to names.
